There have been zero reports about the National’s Ryan Zimmerman and any contract talks. The Minnesota Twins are looking for help at third base while the Nationals always seem to be looking for pitching help and outfield depth. Zimmerman is under team control for another year or two and will not command a huge contract extension. The Twins have plenty of pitchers that they seem willing to deal (Humber, Bonser, one of our starting 5) and have an abundance of outfielders. This could be quite an interesting fit if the two sides could agree on the right deal.
