Pending a physical, Raul Ibanez is the new everyday left fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies. He is the only outfielder in the past 5 seasons to collect at least 100RBI per season. He joins a group of sluggers of Ryan Howard and Chase Utley and could potentially see his numbers go up slightly by playing not only at this field, but also in this line-up. The only downside of this signing is that Ibanez is a left-handed bat with some pop which means he can’t hit after Howard because you would have three lefties in a row. Good signing overall, good defender with a good bat.
